Corrina + Jamie

STACKT Market was made for Corrina and Jamie. It's one of my favourite spots in Toronto. Shipping containers, murals everywhere, that gritty industrial energy that still somehow feels warm. Felt right for these two the second we got there.
They were easy from the jump. No stiffness, no awkward "what do I do with my hands" thing. Just two people who clearly really like each other, cracking jokes and stealing looks when they thought I wasn't paying attention. We wound through the containers, ducked into corners I'd been wanting to shoot for a while, and somewhere in there ended up doing whiskey shots, which is usually when things really start cooking.
The walk over the Bathurst bridge was probably my favourite stretch of the night. Sun on the way down, streetcar clattering past, classic Toronto in every direction. Corrina and Jamie just leaned into each other and I shot around them.
We wrapped at a patio back at STACKT with a pitcher of beer, which honestly didn't feel like wrapping. Just felt like hanging out. That's the part of this job I love most, when the session stops feeling like work and starts feeling like making new friends. Already counting down to their wedding day.
